Inventory Analyst - I
Overview of duties and responsibilities:
The Inventory Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the supply chain for the customer. 
  • Planning/Forecasting and Reporting of product usage
    • Review product usage on a daily/monthly/annual periods
    • Run and review inventory status reports
    • Participate in Periodic Inventory Reviews (PIR) with the customer
    • Plan for increases or decreases in volume by adjusting re-order points
    • Discover and investigate spikes and drops in volume
    • Instruct and track the off-site inventory with manufacturers of products
 
  • Operations Support Coordination
    • Coordinate with on-site operations team to facilitate accurate inventory control and cycle counts
    • Work with operations on project management involving transitions, new product development and special projects for customer
    • Instruct operations team on needs and requests of the customer
    • Coordinate with operations team on accurate delivery of product

  • Excess and Obsolete Transitions
    • Create formulas and tools to manage and track the depletion and/or transition of products
    • Work with the customer to manage the depletion or transition of products
    • Mitigate unused & excess product with customer
 
  • Product Development Support and Inside Sales
    • Responsible for new product development and quotes
    • Initiate new projects through needs analysis, design, approval, purchase and consumption of new products
    • Ascertain areas for consolidation and cost savings in product lines
    • Coordinate with customer purchasing departments on acquiring new purchase orders for their operations
    • Assist customer with any information needs or requests for assistance on products or projects
 
  • Customer Service Representative
    • Present a professional image
    • Dress professional casual
 
  • Required Skills
    • ½ hour to 1 hour of data entry daily
    • Knowledge of spreadsheets and how to generate them into reports
    • Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Power Point
    • Attention to detail is critical
